This quick and easy chocolate banana mug cake is gluten-free and so tasty! It's a cross between breakfast and dessert and can be enjoyed for either. Ready in about 90 seconds!
Mash the banana in a bowl. Add the egg, milk, and syrup and mix to combine. Add the dry ingredients and stir to form a batter. Fold in the chocolate chips.
Grease two microwave-safe mugs and add half the batter into each mug.
Microwave for 60 seconds, check and if it's still a little soggy, add 15 - 20 more seconds.
Enjoy in the mug or turn them out onto a plate and serve them like a mini cake!
